Peculiar as it may seem, we couldn't but fall in love with the tale we have been told about this wonderful teapot: this Japanese XIXth century teapot was used back in the days for the tea-service aboard Japanese trains. The person in charge of the service would pass through the train leaving one of these teapots to his customers and then reclaimed it before the end of the trip. Coming from another era - with no shinkansens yet in sight - and beautiful on its own right, this is an amazing teapot with a fabulous, almost daydream story behind.
