Nicknamed Gokaku pencil, this is a pencil with a very Japanese story behind: lacquered in gold, it has a peculiar shape and a special phrase embossed on it.
That's because it is a good luck pencil!
The top says "Gokaku Enpitsu", which can be translated into "you have passed the test", but the word Gokaku in Japanese also means pentagon, which is why its barrel is shaped as a pentagon.
Besides that, it also writes smoothly and has a medium, black-marking HB graphite.
