Made of naturally glazed white porcelain, this pitcher is another beautiful outcome of the collaboration between Masanori Oji and Arita’s Touetsugama historic kiln. It is made using Amakusa Touseki, a porcelain stone mined from the mountains of the Amakusa region. Thanks to Touetsugama’s unique craftsmanship, it retains the natural off-white colour of the clay, enhanced by the clarity of the straw ash glaze. It can be used in many ways: for water, milk and juice at breakfast, as well as at dinner to serve soup.
Made in white porcelain, using Amakusa Touseki, a porcelain stone mined from the mountains of the Amakusa region, ground to a fine clay slurry and stirred for 20 hours to create an exceptionally smooth and evenly textured slip.
Essential and subtly stylish, this is a wonderful pitcher to use throughout all day.
