Handwoven by local artisans of Sado Island, just few miles off the coast of Niigata, this round-shaped trivet, made from rice straws, is the most genuine outcome of Japanese rural craftsmanship, miraculously survived to this day.
The shape is conceived to hold even a round-bottomed pot like a donabe securely in place and adapt well to any kind of pot.
When not in use, a nice eyelet allows to hang it on your kitchen wall for decoration and ease of reach. 14cm ⌀.
