A set of rice bowls, equipped with a lid to preserve the heat, with a refined design of snappers (Tai, in Japanese) and stylized shells: "Tai" lends itself to the "Mede-Tai" pun, which means "auspicious", therefore it is often the subject for gifts made for parties, New Years, weddings and so on. Made in the first half of the 20th century.
Lacquerware.
