This organic country-style miso is made from organic soybean and rice from Ishikawa prefecture. Richer in flavour than the ordinary miso, it is slightly sweet, with an added texture of whole rice grain, and it gives special touch to every meat marinade, miso soup and umami-rich broth.
It is fermented for longer than standard varieties - for 9 months - giving each batch a dark golden colour and contains a great quantity of koji, which possesses a number of powerful health benefits.
Store in a cool, dark and dry place and in the fridge after opening. 300g.
