Since 1940 Keisuke Serizawa elaborated designs around the forty-seven graphs of the cursive Japanese phonetic script known as Hiragana: afterwards, around 1958 he selected several objects whose names start with a certain syllable and created this wonderful design, where the cursive graphs intermingle with with the object to which they refer. The result is utterly beautiful and plenty of small, amazing details to discover.
