This Yumino figurine, made in the district holding the same name in Takeo, in the prefecture of Saga, right where they were created at the end of the 19th century by Kamejiro Harada, former master of traditional Hakata figurines, is actually a whistle, whose sound reproduces the call of the dove. Since these are hand-made figurines, they are all slightly different and some imperfections are possible.
