Fresh and aromatic, thanks to its charming yuzu flavor, Heiwa Yuzu sake is produced near Wakayama in a sake brewery that once was a buddist temple.
Made using 50% of fresh yuzu juice - grown in Wakayama without using pesticides - and 50% of a two-years old sake with a higher percentage of amino acids than normale sake, in order to enhance even further the blend of the two natural ingredients.
The result is something unique, incredibly refreshing and very sought after in Japan, made in small quantities away from mass production, where every step of the process is done by hand, from harvesting to squeezing.
To enjoy it at its best, it absolutely must be served cold.
