After the success of its equivalent in blue (still available in a few pieces), here is the red edition of the special limited edition tenugui designed exclusively for Nanban by the British artist and illustrator Rose Blake, whose drawing brings her witty and delightful touch to one of the most explored yet fascinating ground of Japanese culture: the Japanese table. A feast for the eyes, plenty of humorous details that give life to what could be a sort of fun and irreverent interpretation in Japanese sauce of the Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci, a joyous rendezvous based on sushi and udon, printed by hand. Tenuguis are the traditional Japanese hand towels, cotton made: they are amazing jack of all trades and are often decorated, thanks to an amazing loom, where each pattern is printed by hand on a single tissue 30 meters long, then precisely cut in several pieces. The resulting cut isn't sewn on purpose, as after losing some threads, the process will stop and the tenugui will keep its shape naturally. An original card signed by Rose herself is included with every order containing a Rose Blake tenugui!* ---- *(available in limited quantity) Cotton. An amazing and beautiful jack of all trades, that always comes in handy. 90 cm x 35 cm x 0.1 cm
