Furikake is simply the ingredient all Japanese jazz up their plain bowl of rice or their onigiri rice ball, just sprinkling it over rice and letting it enhance it with many delicious flavours, while, the the same time, adding useful nutrients.
Nihon Kaisui's wasabi furikake is a wonderfully spicy furikake and is characterized by an intense flavor of wasabi, nori (the dried seaweed), toasted white and black sesame seeds, matcha and soy sauce.
Made with carefully selected ingredients, one teaspoon of the mixture is enough to transform a bowl of white rice, enhancing it with intense color and flavors, rich in sea-salt umami.
